As a brief introduction, my name is Clinton C (DJ C) and I am a native of Shreveport, La. While growing up in the south, I was greatly influenced by the charismatic sounds of notable deejays such as: Steve “Silk” Hurley, Farley “Jackmaster” Funk and Lil’ Lewis. My musical roots lie in the heart and soul of Disco, House and R&B music.
When I moved to Texas, I further acquired a greater appreciation for music genres which includes deep house. During my stay, I was dubbed as “B Side” due to my like of the flip side Dub version (B-Side) rather than playing the typical standard A-Side that every DJ would start playing first. After doing many venues and night clubs throughout Texas, my love for music and entertaining continued to elevate. In 1995, I began my career as a professional deejay. Since this time, I have expanded my talent and knowledge in radio and upon completion received a degree with the Radio and Television Broadcasting Academy of Phoenix Az.
After my completion, I continued my career at 103.9 KBZR "The Blaze" and helped with the transition of alternative to Old School RnB.
While receiving many praises from the community for this change of format, I was called to guest DJ at many nightclubs in the Metro Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson, Az.
I am currently back in my home state to bring the newest and freshest music of genre that I acquired throughout many years of hard work and dedication.
My professional work ethic and personable approach attest to my ability to provide quality entertainment services. Per request I have a massive musical inventory which can be viewed electronically.
